There are hidden gems, and there are hidden gems. But this hidden gem is the gemmiest hidden gem of all the hidden gems ever to be hidden.
Dream Coffee is just that… it transports you into that little space slightly between worlds. A completely dreamy experience where wild birds fly about in the plants, games and colouring books litter the tables, fairy lights and bunting adorn the beautiful timber awning, and your mind is allowed to wander into places where you could imagine faeries flitting about with the birds, living their best life doing faerie things…
The menu is mainly toasties, baked treats and coffees. I had a beautiful chicken, pesto and mozzarella toastie which was utterly delicious, and a creamy, dreamy (…see what I did there?!?! 😉) latte… I’ll be back for a piece of the gorgeous looking banana bread.
I know that I’ve already said this is a hidden gem- I cannot stress that enough. It’s a short drive from town, secreted at the back of The Waterglades Garden Centre… but please, PLEASE, do yourself the favour of visiting, it’s more than a cafe… it’s a tiny haven that allows your mind a break from reality and mundanity, if even only for a lunchtime.
